Thus, we believe that it is necessary to release a short but detailed guide of steps to add new devices to the Dahua DMSS application. Step 1: Tap the + sign on the app and select SN/Scan.
Step 2: The app may prompt a message for granting access to the camera scan the QR code.
Step 3: QR scanning is an option, or the serial number can be done manually.
Step 4: Input the serial number and tap Next.
Step 5: Choose the correct device for product so if you have an intercom, you will select VTO if you have an IP recorder you select NVR if you have an analogue system, you will select DVR/XVR.
Step 6: Input the information and tap Save.
Step 7: Confirm the time zone and DST if necessary.
Step 8: After the device is added successfully, the live view will be displayed.
